What is Augmented ID Readiness™?
It is a professional capability diagnostic for Instructional Designers. It measures how well you decide what design work stays human, what AI can accelerate, and how the two should be combined across the complete learning lifecycle.
Who is this assessment for?
Instructional Designers, learning experience designers, L&D professionals, content developers, learning consultants and subject-matter experts who design learning.
Is this an AI skills test?
No. It does not measure how much AI you use or which tools you know. It measures the quality of your Human + AI delegation decisions, activity by activity. There is no "more AI = better" answer.
How does the scoring work?
For each activity you choose one of four working modes: Human, Human-Led + AI-Assisted, AI-Led + Human-Validated, or AI. Your answer is scored by how far it sits from the recommended owner, then rolled up into capability dimensions and 12 lifecycle stages.
How long does the assessment take?
The free Quick Check covers 24 activities and takes about 10 minutes. The Full Diagnostic covers all 66 activities across the 12 stages and takes about 25 minutes.
What will I receive after completing it?
The Quick Check returns your overall readiness score and level, your capability dimension scores, your working profile, key strengths, development opportunities and practical recommendations. The Full Diagnostic adds the 12-stage profile, delegation profile, self-perception and confidence alignment, a personalized Action Plan™, a 30-day roadmap and a downloadable report.
Is the assessment scientifically validated?
It is designed as a professional capability diagnostic and should be read as an indicative reflection tool, not a psychometric measure.
Do I need to be an AI expert?
No. The diagnostic evaluates your professional judgement about where AI belongs in design work, not your knowledge of specific tools.
Is my data private?
